With just under one year remaining, the timetable for the 2027 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Valencia has been published and can be found here.
The championship spans four days from 4-7 March, beginning with a session dedicated to heats and qualifying on 4 March, before coming to an action-packed climax on 7 March when 13 finals will take place as well as the pentathlon.
The programme concludes with the women’s 4x400m relay, the event in which Spain won gold ahead of the United States at the 2025 World Relays in Guangzhou, China.
Spain won one gold medal and four medals in total at the 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn.
Ana Peleteiro-Compaore won Spain’s sole gold medal in the women’s triple jump, Spain won silver in the men’s 4x400m relay and Paula Sevilla and Lester Lescay won bronze medals in the women’s 400m and men’s long jump respectively.
