In-form Audrey Werro clocked a European 600m best in Biel, Switzerland on Tuesday (23). Werro, who became the third-fastest women's 800m runner of all-time with her victory over Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson in Stockholm in 1:53.98, produced another display of the superb form she is in, clocking 1:22.85 for the rarely contested distance. It is the fastest 600m time ever recorded by a European woman, beating the previous best of 1:23.41 set by Hodgkinson indoors in 2023.
