With 50 days to go until the start of the European Athletics U18 Championships, organisers are offering a 50% discount on tickets for the event in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia for 24 hours only.
Taking place 18-21 July, the event offers an early glimpse of the future superstars of the sport. At the last event in Jerusalem 2022, Serbia’s Angelina Topic won the women’s high jump gold and Italy’s Mattia Furlani won the men’s high jump and long jump gold medals.
Topic went on to win bronze at senior level at the Munich 2022 European Athletics Championships and is serious contender for Roma 2024. Furlani has become the world U20 long jump record holder with 8.36m and he also took silver at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow in March.
European 800m champion Keely Hodgkinson claimed her first international title at the Gyor 2018 European U18 Championships, before going on to win Olympic and World silver medals at the distance.
24 hour offer
The special offer starts on Wednesday 29 May at 10:00am CET and last for 24 hours until Thursday 30 May 30 at 10:00am CET. The 50% discount applies to all types of tickets: for individual half days, full days and a complete four-day event.
An all-day ticket for it for an adult costs €12 from the start of sales in December, and a season ticket costs €40. This means that during the special "50 for 50" promotion, it is only €6 or €20.
The SNP Stadium in Štiavničky has a total capacity of 7,381 spectators. A full-day ticket for an adult for the oval part costs only €4 for all day and only €2.5 for a half-day during the discount period.
