Long jumper Andreas Trajkovski has been named North Macedonia Athletics Athlete of the Year 2025 at a ceremony in Skopje on Wednesday (24).&nbsp;

The national record-holder was eighth at the Apeldoorn 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships, won bronze at the Balkan Championships and was winner in the Maribor 2025 European Athletics Team Championships 3rd Division, securing maximum points for North Macedonia.
At the latter competition, he was also part of the North Macedonian men&rsquo;s 4x100m team who won in a national record of 40.89.

Apeldoorn is one of the greenest cities in the Netherlands and among the largest municipalities in Gelderland. It is a mid-size city with a population of approximately 161,000. Apeldoorn has a charming and lively inner city and a young, sports-minded population.
