Not only competitions and medals. The Rieti 2026 European Athletics U18 Championships will be a major celebration involving the entire city, with a dedicated meeting point for athletes, fans, families and visitors: the Fan Village at Piazzale Leoni.
From Thursday to Sunday, next to the Raul Guidobaldi Stadium, a space dedicated to meeting, socialising and entertainment will come to life, designed to accompany the competition days and transform the event into a complete experience to be enjoyed on every level.
The Fan Village will host exhibition stands, a food area, spaces dedicated to event partners, sports associations and local organisations, as well as the official Rieti 2026 merchandise. It will be a place to discover local excellence, meet people and experience the international atmosphere of the European Championships, with delegations from 48 countries bringing the city to life.
Making the village even more special will be the evening programme of music and entertainment. Each day will begin with an aperitif from 7 pm to 9:30 pm, accompanied by a Vinyl DJ Set, offering the chance to enjoy the sunset with music, conviviality and the excitement of a historic week for the city.
From 10 pm, the Fan Village stage will come alive with entertainment and music events, offering a different show every evening until the grand finale on Sunday 19 July.
The Fan Village will therefore become the meeting point of the European U18 Championships: a place where sport, local identity and entertainment come together, creating a true European celebration in the heart of Rieti.
