Having made a successful defence of her SPAR European Cross Country Championships title in Lagoa, Italy&rsquo;s Nadia Battocletti will make a homecoming appearance at the Campaccio Cross Country on January 25.
The 25-year-old will race at the World Athletics Cross Country Tour Gold event as the big home hope.&nbsp; "After the heat of Portugal, I need to mentally re-enter the generally much colder climate of Campaccio," Battocletti told FIDAL.
"I can't wait to be there again, and I hope everyone has a great day of sport that day. I'm now planning a warm training camp at sea level in January, and I'll do everything I can to win for a second time.&nbsp; &ldquo;I want to enjoy another great day like I did on Sunday (14) in the Italian national team."
