The European Athletics Outdoor Premium Meeting saw local star Jonathan Borlée celebrate being part of Belgium's victorious 4x400m relay team at the recent European Athletics Championships with a win over one lap of the track in 44.91.
His sister Olivia Borlée won over 200m in 23.35, just getting the verdict from her fellow Belgian international Hanne Claes, who was second in 23.36.
Local athletes also took the honours in both of the sprint hurdles races.
Anne Zagré, fifth in Helsinki, clocked a fast 12.92 in the 100m hurdles, just three-hundredths outside her recent Belgian record for the event, while 2009 European Athletics Indoor Championships 60m hurdles winner Eline Berings had her best run for three years when finishing second in 12.95.
Adrian Deghelt clocked 13.50 to win the 110m hurdles.
There was also a brace of Belgian victories in the women's jumps with 2008 Olympic Games high jump champion Tia Hellebaut clearing 1.94m and 2010 European Athletics Championships triple jump bronze medallist Svetlana Bolshakova going out to 14.23m.
Three wins for British athletes came curtsey of Shana Cox, who clocked 52.46 in the 400m; Perri Shakes-Drayton, who won the 400m hurdles in 55.58; and sprinter Deji Tobias, who came home first in the men's 200m in personal best of 20.61.
Sweden's Alhaji Jeng cleared a season's best of 5.72m to win the pole vault.
Visiting Kenyan athletes also made a big impact. There was a world-leading 800m time of 1:56.76 by 2008 Olympic Games gold medallist Pamela Jelimo and Abraham Rotich was equally stunning in the men's 800m, crossing the line in1:43.15 for a Kenyan junior record and the third fastest time ever by a junior.
Albert Rop was another Kenyan winner, taking the 5000m in a personal best of 13:01.91; a race in which Italy's 2012 European Athletics Championships 10,000m silver medallist Daniele Meucci improved his personal best to 13:19.00 when finishing eighth.
The KBC Nacht meeting in Heusden was the seventh of this summer's European Athletics Outdoor Premium Meetings.
The next two will take place in France in the coming days, Nancy on Sunday and Sotteville lès Rouen on Tuesday.
