European Athletics can confirm that the Local Organising Committee has worked closely with local authorities to ensure that all necessary measures are in place for this evening&rsquo;s (16 August) final session of the European Athletics Championships at Alexander Stadium.
Any issues connected with last night (15 August) have now been fully resolved. Everything possible has been done to guarantee the safety and smooth running of tonight&rsquo;s competition.
Fans can be reassured that it is safe to attend the stadium for the closing night of the championships. We look forward to welcoming spectators to what promises to be a memorable final session.
