The European Athletics Anti-Doping Programme has once again proven popular at the European Athletics U23 Championships currently underway in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
So far over 170 athletes from all over Europe have participated in the programme's activities with one more day to go until the conclusion of the four-day event that runs from 14-17 July.
Among those who visited the programme tent on Friday was Teddy Tamgho, the triple jump indoor world record holder from France.
The activities, aimed at spreading awareness about anti-doping, include a one-minute online quiz and offer the participants access to an educational tool to learn more about anti-doping. The participants also had the chance to take part in a lottery in which they could win event passes for the 2012 European Athletics Championships in Helsinki, Finland, to be held from 27 June to 1 July.
The Anti-Doping Education Programme activities are aimed to help athletes gain better understanding of doping-related issues and their own responsibilities.
The programme is organised in co-operation with the IAAF, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
