European Athletics has extended its offer of scholarships for Member Federation coaches to attend conferences in its Coaching Summit Series to include the International Festival of Athletics Coaches Conference (IFAC) to be held from 29-31 October in Glasgow, Scotland.
IFAC, which is organised by the European Athletics Coaches Association (EACA), has announced its list of speakers including renowned sprints coach John Smith (USA), former UK National and Olympic athletics coach Kelvin Giles, high jump coach Yevgeniy Zagorulko (RUS) and Roger Jackson (CAN).
Federations can use one or both of the two scholarships offered to cover the costs of sending coaches to attend the conference. For more information about the scholarships, please click here .
In addition to top speakers, the IFAC offers a wide range of high value workshops covering all disciplines. This year's programme will include a workshop dedicated to teachers, whose work provides a foundation for athlete’s development and performance process.
The organisers are also offering the participants the flexibility to pick and choose from many of the keynote speakers and workshops on offer to suit their needs.
