European Athletics is pleased to announce that it will stream live the Helsinki 2012 European Athletics Championships with English-language commentary.

Athletics fans around the world will be able to watch the 27 June to 1 July championships live in their entirety. Fans will also be able to instantly rewind the action and watch video on demand of an event just a few minutes after it has finished.
A Facebook feature allows fans to chat with each other as they watch the action unfold, while they can follow all the latest news and opinions on the championships through a feature that lets them follow the @Euro_Champs and @EuroAthletics Twitter feeds and see all the Tweets with the #Helsinki2012 hashtag.
English commentary throughout the morning and afternoon/evening sessions will also add colour to the live action.
The live stream will be available worldwide except for Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland and Mexico.
With one week to go until the event, fans clicking on the live stream link today can relive the drama and excitement of the Barcelona 2010 European Athletics Championships by watching the special promotional video featured on the site.

The European Athletics website (www.european-athletics.org) will carry all the latest news from Helsinki 2012 in the final month leading up to the event and throughout the five-day championships.
