European Athletics is very pleased to announce that 22 World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver, Bronze and Challenger events are due to be streamed in the build-up to the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn from 6-9 March.

All events will be streamed live on either the European Athletics website or the European Athletics YouTube channel. Please also note that geo-blocking restrictions might apply to some events.

More details on when and where to watch each meeting, as well as which top names will be competing, will be communicated on the European Athletics website and social media channels in the days prior to each meeting. 

January

Who’s competing?

At the first live streamed event, Menno Vloon from the Netherlands and France’s Thibaut Collet - who have lifetime bests of 5.96m and 5.95m respectively - headline the men’s field for the Univers Perche which takes place in the ski resort of SuperDevoluy on 11 January. 

Reigning European U23 champion Marie-Julie Bonnin competes in the women’s event.  

Reigning Olympic shot put champion Yemisi Ogunleye and European long jump champion Malaika Mihambo are among the top German stars to be lined up for the Sparkassen Indoor Meeting Dortmund on 18 January. 

At the Perche Elite Tour in Rouen on 24 January, world indoor champion Molly Caudery from Great Britain returns to the venue where she won last year with a 4.86m clearance. She will face Olympic bronze medallist Alysha Newman from Canada.

In the men’s event, Olympic bronze medallist Emmanouil Karalis from Greece faces Olympic silver medallist and former two-time world champion Sam Kendricks from the United States.

One week later at the Perch’Xtrem in Caen on 31 January, Molly Caudery faces Alysha Newman again along with European champion Angelica Moser from Switzerland. Emmanouil Karalis, Chris Nilsen and 2012 Olympic champion Renaud Lavillenie are among the top names announced for the men’s event. 

A strong men’s 60m hurdles line-up featuring reigning European indoor champion Jason Joseph from Switzerland along with Sasha Zhoya and Wilhem Belocian has been assembled for the Elite Indoor Track Miramas Meeting on 31 January.

Reigning European champion Ana Peleteiro-Compaore from Spain has also been announced for the triple jump along with Roma 2024 bronze medallist Ilionis Guillaume. 

At the Meeting de l’Eure in Val-de-Reuil on 2 February, 2022 European 100m hurdles champion Pia Skrzyszowska from Poland has been confirmed for the women's 60m hurdles while Pascal Martinot-Lagarde and Just Kwaou-Mathey will go head-to-head in the 60m hurdles. European 1500m bronze medallist Agathe Guillemot will contest the mile and Great Britain’s George Mills has been confirmed for the 3000m. 

World high jump record-holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh from Ukraine will target her fourth victory at the Banskobystrická latka in Banska Bystrica on 18 February, her last competition before the European Athletics Indoor Championships.

Mahuchikh, who cleared a meeting record of 2.06m at the Stiavnicky Sport Hall in 2021, will face last year’s winner and European silver medallist Angelina Topic from Serbia.
