In cool and wet conditions, European champion Ceh threw 67.91m in the third round to defeat Stahl who also recorded his best mark with 66.81m in the third round.
However, there were home victories for improving sprinters Julia Henriksson and Henrik Larsson in the 200m. Defying the unfavourable conditions, Henriksson won the 200m in 22.95 - not too far outside her national record of 22.82 - while Larsson won the men’s 200m in 20.55.
After a surprise defeat at the Swedish Championships, Andreas Kramer bounced back with victory in the 800m in 1:47.32 while Fanny Roos also overturned the result of last weekend’s national championships with victory in the shot put with 18.68m ahead of Axelina Johansson’s 17.94m.

The 26-year-old, who competes for local club, Stade Sottevillais 76, clocked 13.23 (+2.9) in the 110m hurdles heats before winning the final in 13.20 (+2.4) by a clear margin from Cuba’s Roger Iribarne (13.43) and former European indoor champion Milan Trajkovic from Cyprus (13.44).
Lecoeur finished third in the 110m hurdles at the recent French Championships and has ownership of a 13.42 lifetime best which looks due for revision.
Orlann Oliere also won the 100m on home soil in a slightly wind-assisted 11.15 (+2.4) ahead of sub-11 100m performer Celera Barnes (11.19) from the United States while European U23 champion Marie-Julie Bonnin vaulted lifetime bests of 4.60m, 4.65m and 4.70m to finish an excellent second in the pole vault behind world champion Nina Kennedy from Australia who won with 4.75m.
