European Athletics President Dobromir Karamarinov has paid tribute to the organisers of the Bergen 2025 European Athletics U23 Championships, which concluded on Sunday (20).
The 15th edition of the championships witnessed nearly 1200 athletes from 44 countries compete across four days at the Fana Stadion, where there were 12 championship records, three European U23 records, 10 national records and 51 national U23 records set.
The President remarked: “On behalf of European Athletics, I extend our sincere congratulations to the Bergen 2025 Local Organising Committee and the many dedicated volunteers — you even gave us four days of perfect weather!
"Thank you for delivering a first-class championships and creating an experience that will remain a lifelong memory for everyone involved.”
