2022 European 100m hurdles champion Pia Skrzyszowska and 2025 world high jump silver medallist Maria Zodzik are among the leading Poles who have been announced for the ORLEN Cup in Lodz, a World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver meeting, on 25 January.
The ORLEN Cup is one of 22 World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver events - all of which fall under the management and administration of European Athletics - which will take place in Europe in 2026 on the road to the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Kujawy Pomorze in Torun, Poland from 18-20 March.
Skrzyszowska will be one of the biggest draws at next year’s edition of the ORLEN Cup. The 24-year-old has won the 60m hurdles at this meeting twice, including two years ago in a meeting record of 7.78.
Zodzik was one of the surprise medallists at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, winning silver in a rain-affected high jump final in Tokyo. This will be her first competition on home soil since winning silver in Tokyo.

Other names who have been announced include European indoor 60m hurdles champion Jakub Szymanski, who won in Lodz last year in a Polish record of 7.39, and multiple global and continental pole vault medallist Piotr Lisek.
More information about the World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver, Bronze and Challenger live streaming schedule will be announced on the European Athletics website in the upcoming months.
