The Organising Committee of the Rieti 2026 European Athletics U18 Championships and the Municipality of Rieti announce that tomorrow, Sunday 19 July, it will be possible to watch the FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and Spain on the big screen inside the Fan Village at Piazzale Adolfo Leoni.
The initiative comes from the collaboration between the Organising Committee and the Municipality of Rieti, with the aim of making the Fan Village an increasingly lively, open and welcoming place, able to offer further opportunities for gathering and sharing among citizens, visitors, volunteers and delegations present in the city.
The Rieti 2026 European Athletics U18 Championships aim to be a great celebration of sport and of the meeting between different cultures. The screening of the World Cup final will provide an additional moment of sharing in an international atmosphere, with young athletes, coaches and delegations from all over Europe gathered in Rieti.
It will be an opportunity to experience together, beyond disciplines and national flags, the universal values of sport: friendship, participation and the spirit of being part of a global sporting community.
