  • Strong broadcast intentions for European Athletics Indoor Championships

At least 25 International Broadcasters from across the continent will be televising the Belgrade 2017 European Athletics Indoor Championships this weekend.

According to the latest broadcast intentions received by European Athletics, broadcasters plan to show more than 330 hours of live or delayed coverage of the championships’ 34th edition.

The number of intended broadcast hours is already more than the actual broadcast duration (which includes live, delayed, repeat coverage) of any previous European Athletics Indoor Championships. The total number of hours of intended coverage is expected to increase once the broadcast intentions of some remaining rights-holders are received.

Pan-European channel Eurosport plans to show the majority of the championships live across its 54 territories.

European Athletics will also stream live on the www.european-athletics.org homepage the 3-5 March Championships with English-language commentary, allowing for athletics fans around the world to watch the championships live in their entirety.

Fans will also be able to instantly rewind the action and watch video on demand of an event just a few minutes after it has finished if they go to the http://www.eurovisionsports.tv/eaa/ platform.

Make sure to keep track of the Belgrade 2017 live results at www.european-athletics.org.

Minute-by-minute reports, event highlights, best photos, and athlete interview videos will also be available via European Athletics social media channels: Facebook; Twitter; Instagram; YouTube.
