The Sustainability Plan for Rieti 2026 has been published. Developed in collaboration with Enovation Consulting, the plan is built around environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles and outlines a clear framework to deliver a climate-conscious, inclusive and legacy-driven event, aligned with the sustainability priorities of European Athletics and World Athletics.
As the first European Athletics U18 Championships to measure and report on its environmental and social impact, Rieti 2026 establishes a baseline for future editions, supporting continuous improvement and greater accountability across the event lifecycle.
