Registration for the biennial European Athletics AthTech Data Conference in San Marino (October 7-9) has been launched with an invitation for the sport’s digital innovators to take part in a unique TrHackathon challenge.
The conference gathers representatives from European Athletics, World Athletics, Member Federations, event organisers and service providers who work behind the scenes to best harness technology for the benefit of the sport.
The TrHackathon challenge is now open for visionary concepts that leverage emerging technologies to enhance fan engagement, athlete performance understanding and competition visualisations.
It might be through immersive XR experiences, AI-driven analytics, wearable technology, novel use data or any other technological solution that help evolve athletics.
The winning team will be awarded two tickets to the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships and be invited to present at AthTech, with all expenses- within Europe - covered by European Athletics.
