Hubert Troscianka&rsquo;s gold medal-winning score of 8514 points at the Tampere 2025 European Athletics U20 Championships (7&ndash;8 August) has been officially ratified as a European U20 record by European Athletics.
The Polish athlete&rsquo;s total surpassed the previous record held by Germany&rsquo;s Niklas Kaul since 2017 by 79 points.
Troscianka is also one of the finalists in the men&rsquo;s Rising Star category for the Golden Tracks Awards, which will take place in Batumi, Georgia, on Saturday (25).

Apeldoorn is one of the greenest cities in the Netherlands and among the largest municipalities in Gelderland. It is a mid-size city with a population of approximately 161,000. Apeldoorn has a charming and lively inner city and a young, sports-minded population.

The town is easily accessible by car (A1 motorway) and train.
