Five nominees have been selected for both the women's and men's categories based purely on performances achieved throughout the month of April.

Last month’s winners were Great Britain’s Keely Hodgkinson and Switzerland’s Simon Ehammer, both of whom won gold medals at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Torun.
