Five nominees have been selected for both the women's and men's categories based purely on performances achieved throughout the month of July.
The deadline for voting is 7 August at 23:59 CEST and the winners will be announced across the European Athletics social media channels soon afterwards.
Last month’s winners were Slovenia's Kristjan Ceh and Switzerland's Audrey Werro. The five nominees are listed below in alphabetical order with each athlete's key achievements listed.
