World indoor champion Mariano Garcia is set to make his first appearance of the summer season at the Ordizia Meeting in Spain on Saturday (4).
The World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze meeting will be live streamed on the European Athletics YouTube channel from 19:30 CEST.
Since his brilliant triumph at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Kujawy-Pomorze in March, Garcia has yet to compete outdoors.
The Spaniard will be hoping to rediscover the form that earned him European 800m gold at Munich 2022 as he builds towards the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships from 10-17 August.
Martinez and Reardon look for statement wins
Also in action on Saturday are Great Britain's double Olympic 4x400m relay bronze medallist Sam Reardon in the men's 400m and Spain's 2022 European champion Asier Martínez in the men's 110m hurdles.
The women's 800m also looks set to be an exciting contest, with African Championships gold medallist Msgana Hailu of Ethiopia likely to be challenged by Spanish U20 record holder Marta Mitjans.
