International viewers will be able to watch live action from the Rieti 2026 European Athletics U18 Championships on 16-19 July featuring some of the sport’s most exciting prospects on the European Athletics website.
The Italian town will host the fifth edition of the championships which has a stellar history of previous winners including Olympic champions Keely Hodgkinson and Yaroslava Mahuchikh in 2018, world champion Mattia Furlani in 2022 as well as world silver medallist and European indoor champion Emmanouil Karalis in 2016.
Multi-language commentary
All eight sessions will be broadcast from Rieti 2026 on the European Athletics website (integrated feed) with English commentary and via the Eurovision Sport platform with French commentary where there will also be feeds dedicated to showing full field events.
Working in partnership with technology partner CAMB.AI, Eurovision Sport will offer AI-generated translated commentary from its French-language commentary feed, enabling audiences to follow the action in multiple languages through the EBU’s free streaming platform.
Commentary will be available in Dutch, German, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Serbian and Spanish.
In addition, several national broadcasters will be covering Rieti 2026 both live and on delay. The national broadcaster include:
