Home hopes rest with world 200m silver medallist Amy Hunt and defending champion Dina Asher-Smith.
Hunt has broken 11 seconds for the first time this year and, having recently collected Commonwealth Games silver, will be eyeing another major medal. Her season's best of 10.97 leaves her just one hundredth behind the European leader.
Asher-Smith is one of the most consistent championship performers of her generation. She already has eight European Athletics Championships medals in her collection, including six gold across the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay.

Beyond the leading contenders, Italy's reigning world and European indoor 60m champion and Rome 2024 bronze medallist Zaynab Dosso remains a dangerous opponent despite not yet producing her very best form outdoors this season.
