World high jump record-holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh will jump at the International Springer-Meeting Cottbus, a World Athletics Indoor Tour Bronze meeting, on 28 January.

Mahuchikh will be looking for her fourth victory at this meeting. Her last victory dates back to 2024 when she cleared a meeting record of 2.04m on a season’s debut before going on to break the long-standing world record with a 2.10m clearance and win Olympic gold.

Mahuchikh will face opposition from Germany’s Christina Honsel who improved to 2.00m this summer and finished a creditable seventh at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

Former two-time world champion Sam Kendricks from the United States has also been announced for the pole vault.

The full World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver, Bronze and Challenger schedule in Europe can be found here.

More details about live streaming will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
