European Athletics have officially ratified the time of 3:36.72 by France&rsquo;s Paul Anselmini on 15 February in Lyon, France as a European U23 men&rsquo;s short track record.
The French Federation (F&eacute;d&eacute;ration Fran&ccedil;aise d'Athl&eacute;tisme) have been notified via correspondence from European Athletics CEO Christian Milz.&nbsp;
Anselmini enjoyed a successful season, reaching the 1500m final at the Apeldoorn 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships and also winning 1500m silver at the Bergen 2025 European Athletics U23 Championships in July.&nbsp;

Apeldoorn is one of the greenest cities in the Netherlands and among the largest municipalities in Gelderland. It is a mid-size city with a population of approximately 161,000. Apeldoorn has a charming and lively inner city and a young, sports-minded population.
