World class 60m line-ups have been assembled for the BAUHAUS Indoor-Galan, a World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver meeting, in Stockholm on 22 January.
The BAUHAUS Indoor-Galan will be streamed live on the European Athletics website with more details about the streaming schedule for the 2026 World Athletics Indoor Tour to be communicated later this week.
As previously announced, world and European indoor 60m champion Jeremiah Azu will open his international campaign at this meeting but his task has been made significantly tougher with Jamaica’s world and Olympic 100m silver medallist Kishane Thompson added to the line-up.
"It will undoubtedly be one of the hottest duels this indoor season. We are very proud to bring such a big name as Kishane Thompson here in the tremendous form he is in right now. You don't want to miss that," says Jan Kowalski, event manager.
Thompson is the sixth fastest 100m sprinter in history with a 9.75 lifetime best and while the 24-year-old has only raced indoors once in his career, he possesses a 60m lifetime best of 6.48 set outdoors in 2025.
The line-up also includes 2024 European 100m bronze medallist Romell Glave from Great Britain as well as Slovakia’s Jan Volko and Italy’s Samuele Ceccarelli, the 2019 and 2023 European indoor champions respectively.
However, the previously announced Henrik Larsson who won silver behind Azu at the 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships has pulled out due to injury.
The women’s 60m will be headlined by fellow Jamaican and world 100m silver medallist Tina Clayton and her twin sister Tia, both of whom were also part of Jamaica’s silver medal-winning team in the 4x100m relay at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
The line-up also features leading Swedes Julia Henriksson and Nora Lindahl.
Kramer takes on Moe Berg in the 1500m
Swedish 800m record-holder Andreas Kramer will face double European U20 champion Håkon Moe Berg from Norway over 1500m in Stockholm.
Both athletes made big improvements in their specialist events last year. Kramer lowered his Swedish 800m record to 1:43.13 while Moe Berg, who swept the 1500m and 3000m titles at the European Athletics U20 Championships, improved to 3:30.28 in the 1500m to move to third on the European U20 all-time list.

In another key clash, world fifth-placer Fanny Roos will face strong international opposition from former world indoor and outdoor silver medallist Danniel Thomas-Dodd from Jamaica in the shot put.
Other top Swedes who have been announced include Melwyn Lycke Holm in the men’s high jump, Maja Askag in the women’s long jump and Carl Bengtstrom in the men’s 400m.
