Former European indoor shot put champion Konrad Bukowiecki and European hammer silver medallist Ewa Rozanska are among a 13-strong Polish team named for the Nicosia 2026 European Throwing Cup on 14-15 March.
Bukowiecki won gold at the Belgrade 2017 European Athletics Indoor Championships and Rozanska won silver at the Munich 2022 European Athletics Championships
Poland has a rich history at the European Throwing Cup.
Three-time Olympic champion Anita Włodarczyk holds the championship record in the women’s hammer of 75.05m from Tenerife 2009 and Maria Andrejczyk set the women’s javelin championship record with a huge 71.40m throw in Split 2021.
