Bulgaria&rsquo;s Hristo Iliev who won gold at the Balkan Indoor Championships in Belgrade on 21 February, has had his winning time of 6.53 officially ratified as a European U23 record.
The Bulgarian Athletic Federation has been officially notified by European Athletics.
The 21-year-old reached the semi-finals at the Bergen 2025 European Athletics U23 Championships and represented Bulgaria at the recent World Athletics Indoor Championships in Kujawy Pomorze, Poland.
