The European Athletics Council are set to decide on the host cities for the 2018 European Athletics Championships and 2015 SPAR Cross Country Championships at its meeting in Zurich this weekend.
Berlin will present its candidature to host European Athletics' flagship championships.
Representatives from the French commune of Paray-le-Monial will be presenting their bid to host the 2015 cross country championships.
Both parties are sole bidders for the events. Their presentations to the Council will be made on the morning of Saturday 2 November.
This weekend's summit in Zurich is the European Athletics Council's 138th official meeting.

Apeldoorn is one of the greenest cities in the Netherlands and among the largest municipalities in Gelderland. It is a mid-size city with a population of approximately 161,000. Apeldoorn has a charming and lively inner city and a young, sports-minded population.
