Fresh from winning gold at the Bergen 2025 European Athletics U23 Championships, Austria’s Enzo Diessl celebrated on home soil by setting a personal best at the Raiffeisen Austrian Open Eisenstadt on Wednesday (23), which was live streamed on the European Athletics YouTube channel.

The 21-year-old won the 110m hurdles at the World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meeting in 13.17 (+1.5m/s), clipping 0.03 from his previous best set a month ago and 0.23 better than his best time last year.

It is the eighth fastest European U23 time ever. Job Geerds of Netherlands was second in 13.35 and Belgium’s Elie Bacari third in 13.37.

In the 100m hurdles, Poland’s former European champion Pia Skrzyszowska was an impressive winner in 12.72 (+1.3m/s), she also clocked 12.71 (+0.3m/s) in heats. Germany’s Ricarda Lobe was second in a personal best of 12.82 and Sarah Lavin of Ireland was third in 12.83.
