Italy’s Zaynab Dosso has revealed her plans to compete at a trio of World Indoor Tour gold meets to open her season as she builds to attempt to medal at a World Athletics Indoor Championships over 60m for the third year running.

In fact, she’ll be looking to upgrade her medal once more with the Kujawy Pomorze 2026 World Athletics Championships next month having won bronze in 2024 and silver in 2025.

But her season will finally start on Tuesday night (3) as she makes her debut this year in at the Czech Indoor Gala, against a stacked field including Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Championships 200m silver medallist, Amy Hunt, who is also making her season debut.

Dosso will also face home favourite Karolina Manasova, the Bergen 2025 European Athletics U23 100m winner and second fastest woman over 60m so far this year.

The 26-year-old will then make her second appearance of the season at the Belgrade Indoor Meeting on 11 February and ten at the ORLEN Copernicus Cup on 22 February.

Last year Dosso opened her season in Belgrade before going on to compete at the  Copernicus Cup and later win gold at Apeldoorn 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships with the fastest time recorded last year in the world.

While she is yet to confirm her attendance, the Italian Indoor Championships then take place 28 February to 1 March, ahead of a final push with Kujawy Pomorze 2026 starting 20 March.
