Fresh from winning silver at the SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Lagoa, Megan Keith will lead a 20-strong Great Britain and Northern Ireland team at the World Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, USA on 10 January.
European silver medallist Keith headlines the senior women’s team, which also features 2024 European U23 cross country champion Phoebe Anderson, Verity Ockenden and Poppy Tank, who won team silver in Lagoa.
In the senior men’s team, Rory Leonard, 17th in Lagoa is joined by Matthew Ramsden, Jacob Cann and USA-based David Mullarkey.
Bronze medal winning relay members return
The mixed relay team sees Alex Millard and Adam Fogg return after being part of the historic bronze medal-winning squad at the 2024 World Cross Country Championships in Belgrade.

They are joined by USA-based George Couttie and India Weir, who will make her senior international debut.
In the men’s U20 race, Alex Lennon leads the team after finishing as the first British athlete in Lagoa in 15th place. The women’s U20 team includes Eliza Nicholson and Zara Redmond, both part of the gold medal-winning British team in Lagoa.
