The Italian shot put duo Leonardo Fabbri and Zane Weir will compete at the International Pegaso Meeting, a World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger meet, on 9 May.
Fabbri will be looking to break his own meeting record of 22.91m which he set in 2024 as his bid to break 23m continues.
So far this season the reigning European champion has thrown 22.50m to take a confident hold of the world standings as the outdoor season begins.
While Weir was initially held back due to an injury, he holds a seasons best of 20.56m and will be looking to edge back over the 21m mark.
Both athletes will be building towards the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships with hopes of making it a double Italian podium.
Also set to compete in Florence is two-time European champion and world indoor champion Nadia Battocletti, who will run the 1500m.
She will be joined in Italy by Great Britain's Amy Hunt, world silver medallist, and Imani-Lara Lansiquot, Olympic, world and European relay medallist.
