It has been yet another staggering season for Femke Bol who amassed yet another unbeaten season in the 400m hurdles and became just the second woman in history to win back-to-back titles in the 400m hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
Bol also became the woman in history to be crowned women's European Athlete of the Year on three occasions. But how does her 2025 season shape up by the numbers?

Average winning margin in 2025. Bol went unbeaten in nine 400m hurdles finals in 2025, averaging a huge winning margin of 1.27 seconds across her nine races. Her biggest winning margin was 2.26 seconds in Budapest and her smallest was 0.54 at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo

European Athlete of the Year accolades. Bol became the first woman in history to be crowned European Athlete of the Year three times since the inception of the award in 1993. Bol also won this accolade in 2022 and 2023 and was also crowned women’s Rising Star in 2021

After anchoring the Netherlands to gold medals in the 4x400m and inaugural mixed 4x400m on home soil at the European Athletics Indoor Championships, Bol retained her world 400m hurdles title at the World Championships and picked up medals in both relays either side of her individual triumph
