High performance professionals behind the success of Olympic and world 100m gold medallist Noah Lyles and world and European 400m hurdles champion Femke Bol, as well as Olympic and world hammer gold medallist Camryn Rogers are among the names set to appear at the 2025 European Athletics Coaching Summit Series.

Dr Jo Brown, high performance physiotherapist to elite sprinters including Lyles and a long-time collaborator to the Jamaica athletics team is set to appear at Speed Festival 2025 in Bergamo, Italy on 18-19 October.

 

Laurent Meuwly, coach to Femke Bol and European indoor 400m champion Lieke Klaver is a special guest at NextGen Athletics in Valmieras, Latvia on 14-16 November. 

Canadian Rogers, the current Olympic and world women’s hammer champion will appear at the International Hammer Conference in Eaubonne, France on 14–16 November.

The Endurance Academy in Belgrade, Serbia on 21-23 November will also welcome a knowledgeable group of presenters, including Prof. Andrew Jones. A world-renowned physiologist, he has shaped endurance science and advised Nike’s legendary Breaking 2 project featuring Eliud Kipchoge.

Ronald Vetter National Coach for Combined Events in the Netherlands and Fernando Oliva, and elite coach in Belgian combined events are both attending the Multi Event Conference in Växjö, Sweden on 21-23 November.

The European Athletics Coaching Summit Series offers high performance sport coaches the opportunity to learn from industry leading experts and their peers across Europe.

European Athletics is also offering scholarships of up to CHF 1200 to support Member Federations in sending their coaches to these conferences, which cover a range of high-performance topics. 

Furthermore, European Athletics is collecting applications for the 2026 and 2027 Coaching Summit Series and prospective organisers should contact development@european-athletics.org with the following details by 30 November 2025.
