Kucherenko, the 2010 European Athletics Championships bronze medallist, also had a jump of 6.85m in her series. Serbia's former European junior Championships silver medallist Ivana Spanovic was second with a season's best of 6.53m.
Hungarian hammer star Krisztian Pars continued his outstanding season – the 2011 World Championships silver medallist has only lost once in seven outings this year – when he went over 80 metres three times, finishing with a best mark of 81.48m.
Second was local hero and 2008 Olympic Games gold medallist Primoz Kozmus, who improved his season's best to 77.35m with in last attempt.
Slovenian athletes were also very much in evidence in other events as the talented 19-year-old Zan Rudolf, the 2011 European Athletics Junior Championships 800m silver medallist, won over two laps of the track in new senior and junior national record 1:46.79.
Marija Sestak was the best in triple jump with 14.26m while Martina Ratej won the javelin javelin with 61.25m.
In men's sprints, Great Britain's Danny Talbot won the 100m in 10.24 (+0.1) and then clocked 20.71 in the 200m but South Africa's Anaso Jobodwana won a separate race in 20.50, with Ireland´s Steven Colvert second in a personal best of 20.57.
Italy's Marco Vistalli won the 400m in 45.70 while Austria's Beate Schrott was the best in the 100m hurdles with 13.11. Slovakia's Lucia Klocova took the honours in the women's 1500m in 4:14.45.
