Malaika Mihambo, former Olympic champion, will compete in the International Running Meeting as part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger series in Pliezhausen on 17 May.
The two-time world and European champion had a short indoor season and elected to not compete at the world indoors after jumping a best of 6.57m.
After a block of training again, Mihambo will be looking to land much closer to, or beyond, the seven metre mark as she builds towards the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships this summer.
If Mihambo is to take another European gold she will become just the second woman to win the title in long jump three or more times.
While any podium finish would make her the first woman to make the top three in women’s long jump five editions in a row.
Germany’s world 4x100m bronze medallists, Sina Mayer and Sophie Junk, will also be competiing in Pliezhausen.
