With just five weeks to go until the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships, organisers today (Monday 6 July) have announced a major ticket release, making seats available across all sessions from 10–16 August - including some of the Championships’ most in-demand events.
This latest release maximises every available seat for fans at the UK’s first-ever staging of the European Athletics Championships - a landmark moment for the West Midlands and for athletics.
With a family of four able to attend the event from just £33, the championships will be one of the most family-friendly major sports event to come to the UK. Fans from across Europe and beyond will head to the iconic Alexander Stadium from Monday to Sunday, with medal events taking place across the week, including the women’s 100m final on Monday, 10 August.

Pass It On: Birmingham 2026 Ticket Resale Programme Launched
From 6 July, Birmingham 2026's official Ticket Resale platform will also open, giving fans who can no longer attend the Championships a safe and secure way to sell their tickets to other fans.
The Championships offer the chance to see some of Europe’s biggest stars in action, including Mondo Duplantis, Nadia Battocletti, Josh Kerr, Femke Bol, Mattia Furlani, Isaac Nader, Keely Hodgkinson, Georgia Hunter Bell, and more.
All resale tickets will be sold through the official Birmingham 2026 ticketing platform, the only authorised place to buy resale tickets. Fans are advised not to purchase tickets through unofficial websites, social media or third-party sellers, where tickets cannot be guaranteed to be genuine or valid.
