Tickets are now on sale for the 2025 European Athletics U20 Championships which will be held in Tampere, Finland from 7-10 August.

“Tickets are available for between one and four days and the prices are affordable [from 30 euros for the entire championships] so that you can come with the whole family, or go on a trip with your own club group or coaching group,” said Elisa Hakanen, General Secretary of the 2025 European Athletics U20 Championships.
Tampere is an established venue for major age-group championships. Over the years, the Ratina Stadium has hosted the 2003 European Athletics U20 Championships as well as the 2018 World Athletics U20 Championships.
“There has been a good atmosphere in the stands at all the competitions, and the support from Finnish athletes in particular has been solid. Now we are aiming for a total of 30,000 spectators over the four days," added Hakanen.
The European Athletics U20 Championships brings together Europe’s most outstanding young athletes. Some of the stars expected to compete in Tampere include Croatia’s Jana Koscak (heptathlon), France’s Meta Tumba (400m hurdles) and Slovenia’s Tom Tersek (javelin), all of whom won gold medals at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima.
Also watch out for super sprinting talents Divine Iheme from Great Britain and Italy’s Kelly Doualla - both of whom could make their major championships debuts in Tampere. Iheme has already clocked a world age-15 60m best of 6.71 while fellow 15-year-old Doualla recently clocked 7.23 in the 60m, the fastest ever time by a European U18.
Some of the main Finnish hopes in Tampere include reigning European U18 heptathlon champion Enni Virjonen and Mico Lampinen, the bronze medallist in the discus at the World Athletics U20 Championships.
Tickets for the European Athletics U20 Championships can also be purchased on the day at the stadium.
All four days of the European Athletics U20 Championships will also be streamed live through the European Athletics website.
