World silver medallist Maria Zodzik is the star attraction at the 30th anniversary edition at the Brněnská Laťka Olympia on Wednesday (25).

The women’s high jump only World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meeting in Brno, Czechia is an annual gathering for some of the world’s leading high jumpers and this year will be no different.
Poland’s Zodzik, who broke through with a superb 2.00m clearance to win her first major medal at last year’s World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, must overcome a tough field including USA champion Charity Hufnagel, former world U20 champion Karmen Bruus of Estonia and Sweden’s European indoor bronze medallist Engla Nilsson.
