A bumper week of athletics awaits with five World Athletics Indoor Tour events to be streamed on the European Athletics channels this week.

BAUHAUS-Galan Indoor, Stockholm (SWE) - WIT Silver
When: 22 January
Streaming begins at 6:00pm local time (CET) on the European Athletics website*
All eyes will be on the men’s 60m which features reigning world and European indoor champion Jeremiah Azu up against world and Olympic 100m silver medallist Kishane Thompson from Jamaica who races indoors for just the second time in his career.
There will also be a distinct Jamaican theme to the women’s 60m featuring twins Tia and Tina Clayton, both of whom were part of Jamaica’s silver medal-winning team in the 4x100m relay at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

Another key clash features European U20 1500m and 3000m champion Hakon Moe Berg up against Swedish 800m record-holder Andreas Kramer in the 1500m while another stalwart of the Swedish team Fanny Roos goes head-to-head with Jamaica’s former world indoor and outdoor silver medallist Danniel Thomas-Dodd in the shot put.

Meeting de Nantes Metropole, Nantes (FRA) - WIT Bronze
When: 23 January

Experience meets youth in the women's 60m with Portugal's 42-year-old Lorene Bazolo facing 19-year-old European U20 100m silver medallist Mabel Akande in the 60m.
From an international standpoint, the highlight will be the women's 60m hurdles which is headlined by Alia Armstrong from the United States. Armstrong improved to 12.32 in the 100m hurdles in 2025 and has an indoor 60m hurdles PB of 7.81.
Meeting Indoor de Lyon, Lyon (FRA) - WIT Bronze

There will be the unusual spectacle of an indoor 5000m and Sarah Madeleine, who finished eighth in the 1500m final at the 2025 World Athletics Championships, will be targeting the national record which stands at an achievable 15:31.62.
The line-up for the 5000m also includes Tunisia’s Marwa Bouzayani who finished fourth in the 3000m steeplechase final in Tokyo.
Fresh from a 1:44.65 Irish indoor record in Luxembourg on Sunday, Mark English will be chasing another fast time in the men's 800m while European indoor silver medallist Clara Liberman faces a strong field including world indoor bronze medallist Patricia Silva in the women's 800m.

StarPerche, Bordeaux (FRA) - WIT Bronze
When: 24 January
Streaming begins at 7:00pm local time (CET) on the European Athletics YouTube channel
Marie-Julie Bonnin will be vaulting in his home city in front of her home fans at the StarPerche in Bordeaux. The reigning world indoor champion faces opposition from the likes of fellow world finalists Roberta Bruni from Italy, Imogen Ayris from New Zealand and Brazil’s Juliana de Menis Campos.
There will also be high hopes for French success in the men’s pole vault. The line-up includes leading domestic pole vaulters Anthony Ammirati, Robin Emig and Valentin Lavillenie.
Meeting Moniz Pereira, Pombal (POR) - WIT Challenger
When: 25 January
Streaming begins at 4.00pm local time (5.00pm CET) on the European Athletics YouTube channel
Portuguese stars including Auriol Dongmo, Jessica Inchude and Gerson Balde head the the entries.
Dongmo is a former world indoor champion and Inchude is a two-time winner at the European Throwing Cup and are due to clash in the shot put.
Balde, who was fourth at the Apeldoorn 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships, is among the entries for the men’s long jump.
