Italian teenage sprint sensation Kelly Doualla will challenge world indoor and European indoor bronze medallist Patrizia Van der Weken over 60m at the Meeting de Paris Indoor on Sunday (25).
The clash between the 16-year-old European U20 100m champion and the Luxembourger—who opened her season in fine style on Sunday (18) with a home victory in 7.14 at the CMCM Indoor Meeting—promises to be one of the highlights of the World Indoor Tour Silver meeting.
Furlani heads strong long jump field
World champion Mattia Furlani of Italy, Bulgaria’s European indoor champion Bozhidar Sarâboyukov and France’s European U23 champion Erwan Konaté will go head-to-head in the men’s long jump.
Four-time French champion Laeticia Bapté is set to compete in the women’s 60m hurdles, while Spain’s Fatima Diame, a two-time world indoor bronze medallist, will line up in the women’s long jump.
