European men&rsquo;s discus champion Kristjan Ceh maintained his superb form with another 70-metre throw to win at the Dinamo Meet in Zagreb, Croatia, on Wednesday (8).
The Slovenian launched a meeting record of 70.46m to win at the World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger meeting.

It was his ninth competition this season in which he has exceeded 70 metres and backed up his impressive win at Friday&rsquo;s (4) Diamond League Final in Brussels.
In the women&rsquo;s 1000m, the USA&rsquo;s Juliette Whittaker won in 2:36.03, just ahead of second-placed Nina Vukovic, who set a Croatian record of 2:36.67.
