The final entries have been published for the 2025 European 10,000m Cup which takes place in Pacé, France on 24 May.

The 2025 European 10,000m Cup will be streamed live on the European Athletics YouTube channel without any restrictions and will be accompanied by English-language commentary.
The men’s entry-list is headed by Ireland’s 2025 European leader Efrem Gidey who has already set a national record of 27:26.95 in the 10,000m this year, breaking an Irish record which had stood since 2007.
Gidey just missed out on a medal in fourth in the half marathon at the inaugural European Running Championships in Brussels-Leuven last month but the European 10,000m Cup offers the Irishman another chance to win his first senior medal.
The French team is headed by the in-form Valentin Gondouin, who just pipped Gidey for the individual bronze medal in the half marathon at the European Running Championships and the second counter of France’s gold medal-winning team in the team race.
The men’s field also features 2016 European 5000m champion Ilias Fifa from Spain and Yohanes Chiappinelli, the Italian marathon record-holder at 2:05:24.
The field for the women’s 10,000m includes three medallists from the European Running Championships including Belgium’s Chloe Herbiet - who won individual and team half marathon gold on home soil - and Germany’s Eva Dieterich, the surprise silver medallist behind Nadia Battocletti in the 10km.
With Battocletti absent, the Italian team is headed by European half marathon bronze medallist Sara Nestola and Federica Del Buono, the fourth-placer in the 10,000m at the 2024 European Athletics Championships.
Other standout names on the women’s entry-list include Belgium’s Jana Van Lent, who finished fifth in the senior women’s race at the SPAR European Cross Country Championships, and European U20 3000m and 5000m champion Agate Caune from Latvia.
