The final entries for the 2025 European Race Walking Team Championships in Podebrady, Czechia in 18 May have been published and can be found below.

The 2025 European Race Walking Team Championships will be streamed live on the European Athletics YouTube channel without any restrictions.

One of the highlights will be the women’s 35km race walk which features Spain’s double world champion Maria Perez who will be looking for back-to-back titles after winning two years ago in a world record of 2:37:15 and leading a Spanish clean sweep.

Perez will face a strong field including 2020 Olympic 20km race walk champion Antonella Palmisano from Italy who is due to make her debut at the distance along with Greece’s Antigoni Ntrismpioti, the double gold medallist at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich.

Ntrismpioti will be targeting her third successive title at the European Race Walking Team Championships after winning the inaugural 35km race walk in 2021 before dropping down in distance to win the 20km race walk in 2023.

Spain and Italy swept all but one of the titles - individual and team - at the 2023 European Race Walking Team Championships and the two nations are expected to dominate across the programme again.

Former world and Olympic champion Massimo Stano is the standout entrant for the men’s 35km race walk and teammate Francesco Fortunato will be aiming to defend his title in the 20km race walk.

Fortunato could renew his rivalry with reigning European champion Perseus Karlstrom but the Swede - who is also a two-time winner of the 20km race walk in this competition before finishing second in 2023 - is keeping his options open and has also entered the 35km race walk.

European silver medallist Paul McGrath headlines the Spanish team in the men's 20km race walk while Antia Chamosa is the fastest entrant based on season's bests in the women's race with 1:27:55.

The fastest entrants for the U20 10km races are Spain’s Daniel Monfort (40:32 PB) on the men’s side and Serbia’s Mina Stankovic (44:16 PB) on the women’s side.

In-depth previews on the European Race Walking Team Championships will be published next week and there will be full and in-depth coverage of the championships across the European Athletics website and all social media channels.
