European indoor silver medallist Clara Liberman has been added to the women’s 800m line up to face European U23 800m champion Audrey Werro at the Meeting de l’Eure on Sunday 1 February.
The French athlete won silver at Apeldoorn 2025, whilst Swiss athlete Werro won European U23 gold in Bergen and also triumphed at the Diamond League Final in Zurich last year.
The duo both part of a dramatic women's 800m final in Apeldoorn, where Werro crashed to the track on the last lap. Werro had a smoother experience at this meeting last year, winning in 2:00:34.
Already confirmed for the World Athletics Indoor Tour silver meeting is Liberman’s international teammate Agathe Guillemot, who won 1500m gold in Apeldoorn and will be competing in the mile.
World and European indoor shot put champion Jessica Schilder of the Netherlands and France’s world indoor and European indoor 60m hurdles silver medallist Wilhem Belocian have also been named by organisers.
