German Olympic gold medallists Malaika Mihambo and Yemisi Ogunleye wil launch their 2026 indoor season at the ISTAF Indoor meeting in D&uuml;sseldorf on 24 January.
Mihambo, who won women&rsquo;s long jump gold at the Tokyo Olympics and Ogunleye, who won shot put gold at the Paris Olympics, are frequent competitors at the meeting. Ogunleye triumphed at this year&rsquo;s meeting and Mihambo won in 2023, which is a World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver meeting.

Apeldoorn is one of the greenest cities in the Netherlands and among the largest municipalities in Gelderland. It is a mid-size city with a population of approximately 161,000. Apeldoorn has a charming and lively inner city and a young, sports-minded population.
