Olympic, world and European gold medallist Yaroslava Mahuchikh has confirmed she will return to the scene of her world record-breaking performance when she takes part in the Paris Diamond League on 20 June.

The Ukrainian superstar cleared 2.10m at the same competition last year, bettering the previous record of 2.09m set by Bulgaria’s Stefka Kostadinova in 1987. Mahuchikh went on to win gold in the same arena at the Paris Olympics last summer.

She is yet to compete on European soil this summer but is unbeaten so far with Diamond League victories in Xiamen and Keqiao, plus wins in Doha and Tokyo.
